Cooking With Dee

...................... Well first off You Must Know that Dee is a Self Taught cook.

She has learned all she knows by watching the TV,Reading,& spying on Others.. She has wonderful Kitchen habits & Follows a few simple rules. everyone can learn floowing her example: No Blood.. Keep it clean.. Wear an Apron.. her Favorite is the One her Aunt Karin sent her with a Spider on it! Wash your hands, Keep your hair up & away, & pay attention so there are no additional fingers or toes that wind up in the mix.. unless the recipe actually calls for it.. she says we shant surprise anyone! That being said, Dee is on her way.Her All Time FAV thing to do Is Bake! Dee LOVES to play in the flower! she loves the Texture of it, the fluff of it, the way it just flies through the air when she tosses it about!

But then, thats Play time, THIS is work time, back to the business at hand!

...................................................................................................Sunday Dinner Dee wanted to make Something Scrumptious for everyone to snack on.She decided on her all time favorite, Zuchini Bread! She read her recipe First.Which Dee says is always a good idea to do before you begin,no matter how well you may THINK you remember your ingrediants, you don't want to accidentaly come up short of a much needed item! That could be a disaster! So, she reads.,then pulls out all her stuff & starts a mixing! once made Dee is always happy with the end result becasue she loves to share her baked goods with friends & family!

After she baked her Bread she saw that Mom Needed help. As ALWAYS,So she jumped right in as all good little bad girls do & decided she would cut up the Potatoes for the Scalloped potatoes! She LOVES cutting stuff up.. this actually is one of her all time favorite Hobbies (& Pssttt.. shhh. secret.. mom hid all her favorite scissers from her.. something about all the cloths having holes in them or some such thing.. so she sure would kill for a new teeny little pair.. you know.. for art projects & stuff.!)

............................................So, Potatoes Cut.. Dee got to mix in the other ingredients.She knows how to add more cream Cheese then Mom.. Tsk Tsk Tsk .. Mom always tries to put half a chunk of Cream Cheese in the mix, DEE knows a WHOLE thing tastes LOTS better. Thats why everyone brags on Dee's Scalloped potatoes better'n Moms!

So.. Dee was a Big help in the Kitchen Sunday. She did a Great Job & Everyone made a fuss over her, as usual! Well Done Dee!
