Look What Jay Bird & Her Daddy Came Home With Today!!!!

Well The Hunt For Car Is Over For The Girl Child!! Thank The Gods!!!
They headed out after Breakfast this morning..(I had to work yes.. SOOoo unfortunate for Me!)
I was given a Blow by Blow Via Texting through out the day..
It was Quik & Pain less & with out too many Signatures they were free to go..!
With the most Beautiful of Cars Jay Bird has ever Seen.. Driven.. Ridden in & By Far EVER owned in her lovely , sweet , short precious life thus far!
Her Very own Dodge Caliber!
Silver!! with Black Interior.. & a blue bit on the instrument panel As well as in the seats..
I wasn't with.. so I'm not quite sure How they pull off describing this blue that they have addded in there.. But Jay Bird loves it.. so that's Good enough to me!

Daddy was proud as a Peacock.. & looked as if he had just given birth by the time they made it home! I'm sure an all day event together was pretty much more then the two of then could really handle on any given day.. But under stress & pressure.. it must have been way to fun & I'm really almost sorry I missed it!!
The Bonding was a HUGE thing for them both though .. & I'm glad they had this opportunity together!! Yes.. going into debt.. what a way to bring two people together!!

Car Shopping with a Bird & a Bean!!

I have ONE Day a Week that I can say.. "This IS MY Day!"
MY Day to relish what EVER I choose to do! It's Monday..
I can Sleep in if I want to! OR I can Shop if I want to!
OR... what I REALLY Love to do is this!!
Get up bright & early.. Load up a wee little Change Purse with some cash.. Fix myself a Nice glass of Ice Tea.. Go out to my Truck.. & heading out to a handfull of Thrift Shops & winding up with some LOVELY deals on some little Doilies.. or Linens.. Some Grand old Kitchen Surprises or old Glasses.. Maybe a hot little Apron! Who Knows??? Then heading for lunch at a Quaint little Antique Shop that has Tea & Sandwiches with some friends!!

But.. Alas.. No.. My Time seems rarely to be my own..
Today.. It was spent with looking at Cars with a screeching Jay Bird.. who's current wheels we have been babying along for the past 3 years or more are finally giving out on her.... & the Bean.. Who initially had been forbidden to travel with us by his Sister because.. Well because she just started OUT in a foul mood.. That's Why..
We did see a few promising cars.. But the Attack of the Very Hungery Salesmen was a bit depressing.. So We choose to when at all possible to Stay Inside our car with the doors & windows locked & just slowly cruise the lots.. If something looked promising.. The Bean was elected to make a run for it to the targeted car to check out the year, price & mileage & make it back to our car before being attacked by a Starving Sales Man!
Aggresive isn't even the word really.. Which is what I tried to Explain to Sales Man Paul as he kept tapping on the car window as we were trying to slowly depart the obstacle path they have so clevery devised in their lots.. It's more cult like persuasion..
He Kept saying things through the Window like.. " I can help you here if you'll only let me.. we can make this as painless as possible.." (?) And... "And then you'll be free to go." Really?? oh REALLY.? I stopped then.. & rolled my window down.. had not yet in Paul's parking lot.. but when he said we would be free to go.. Something about this was a bit discomforting to the crazy voices in my head.. I said "Oh REALLY Paul? THEN I would be Free to Go? Are you listening to what you just said to me? Are you saying I WOULD NOT be free to go Otherwise??"
Yeah.. well Bean Said something Like "Mom.. stay in the Car"
Jay Bird just started to laugh.. & Paul took a few steps back from My car that he had come so accostomed to touching now..
I just starred at him for a few seconds.. He was quiet for the very first time since our rude introduction to his parking lot.. Bean was quiet.. Jay Bird was laughing.. quietly.. but never the less.. yes.. still laughing.. & I looked at Paul & said "Yes.. I thought so Dear.. wise move.." & we left & went across the street to the next feeding frenzy..
Yes.. i DO love Car Shopping!! I think I'd rather eat a sponge that sat on my kitchen sink all week long!
It's rather unfortunate that I had not found a Bridge.. I was so looking forward to jumping off of one by the end of the day..

Revelation Moment..
It Does not Matter how old Your Children become.. Stick them in a
car together for several hours & allow them to become tired & hungry.. & they will still fight & behave exactly the way they did when they were Young! EVEN kicking the Seat in front of them!
AND Throw things at each other!

Yes.. We must do this again very Soon!
